On the eve of the Chinese New Year, after 29 days of unremitting efforts by all the staff of the Rig 27 Drilling Team, their first well (ZB-513 Well) was successfully spudded-in at midnight local time on January 29th, once again opening the prelude to the conquest of the Zubair Oilfield.
As the world's top oil company and the world's main oil service company, the safety standards of ENI and Schlumberger are absolutely the "best in the industry", especially for hoisting operational requirements. In order to meet Party A's standards and avoid unnecessary waiting by stops, all the employees of the Rig 27 Team made meticulous plans for the order of each truck of goods, the specific allocation of tasks of each hoisting team members, and the order of use of each crane before starting the rig move. The on-site implementation plan was in place, ensuring that no call-for-stop incident occurred during the entire rig moving, ensuring the orderly progress of the work, which was highly commended by Party A's hoisting supervisors.
During the equipment rectification and acceptance period, in the face of two internationally renowned third-party supervision companies invited by Party A, they cooperated with the acceptance during the day, rectified the problems at night, and closed one-by-one day and night with the fastest time. They finally passed the drilling acceptance on January 28, clearing the last barrier affecting the spudding-in. At the beginning of the cooperation, the spirit of ZPEC’s "Iron-Blooded Army" was on display in front of Party A as Team 27’s hard work overcame the many difficulties.
Since the beginning of 2017, Rig 27 Drilling Team first cooperated with the world's top oil service company, Halliburton, and now cooperates with Schlumberger, the world’s largest drilling contractor. The team has successively moved to the Majnoon and Zubair Oilfields in Iraq.
